Le titre de la news peut paraître étrange mais le groupe finlandais Turisas compte bel et bien sortir son nouvel album studio, le quatrième du groupe, le 26 août prochain sous ce nom plutôt étrange.
Turisas2013 fera donc suite à l'épique Stand Up and Shout paru il y a deux ans. Mais cette nouvelle sortie devrait être moins axée "stadium rock", plus orientée metal et plutôt rapide mais conservant une touche propre au groupe toujours rattaché aux thématiques folk/viking.
Voici ce que le chanteur/leader Mathias "Warlord" Nygård déclare sur le Facebook du groupe :
"When it comes to the production, it's just the opposite of the polished and massive 'Stand Up And Fight'. It's raw and dry and in your face, but still maintaining that TURISAS largeness.
"People attest us that we are a great live band, and we wanted the album to be based more around that than orchestral massiveness. It's our most varied record to date and even if some of the songs sound very different, I think the common thread is that every single one has a lot of energy to it."
