Après les lecteurs, la rédaction ! Comme tous les ans, La Grosse Radio Metal vous propose un récapitulatif des moments musicaux les plus marquants de l'année. Pour se réconforter face à une situation politique de plus en plus chaotique (sans parler de la situation internationale), 2024 aura brillé musicalement. Des mastodontes du genre, des valeurs sûres toujours présentes, des retours inattendus... Mais aussi de nombreuses révélations nous ont tapé dans l’œil. Le monde du metal a de beaux jours devant lui.
Réaliser le classement des meilleurs albums de l'année n'est jamais aisée, tant la scène metal regorge de pépites en tous genres, du plus confidentiel au plus iconique, et ce dans des genres très divers. Chaque personne a ses goûts et ses critères propres, et tente de mettre en avant les artistes qui selon elle méritent le plus de briller. Les membres de notre rédaction mettent en avant leurs goûts personnels dans leurs tops respectifs, et le top de l'ensemble de la rédaction met en avant cet équilibre. Avec un comptage tout ce qu'il y a de plus officiel : un album placé en n°1 d'un top personnel gagne dix points, un album en n°2 reçoit neuf points, et cætera. Voici les résultats ci-dessous de notre best of 2024 !
En plus des albums, et d'une sélection d'EP - car parfois, plus c'est court, plus c'est bon ! - nous vous proposons, comme d'habitude, nos révélations de l'année, car l'ADN de notre média reste la découverte d'artistes émergents et / ou confidentiels.Un choix là encore extrêmement vaste ! Enfin, toujours convaincus que la musique se vit et se soutient en live, nous dédions également une catégorie aux meilleurs concerts de l'année. Nouveau crève-cœur pour nombre d'entre nous, tant les concerts de qualité ont été pléthore en 2024.
