Après plus d'une dizaine d'années d'existence et 4 albums à son actif, dont le petit dernier, Lustdriven, a fait son petit effet lors de sa sortie, le combo finlandais Kiuas a finalement décidé de jeter l'éponge, n'ayant pas réussi à trouver un remplaçant stable à son charismatique ancien vocaliste.

"After a long careful consideration and looking at all possible options, we, Kiuas, have decided it is time to put this band to its final rest.
After four amazing albums, tours and festivals in Finland and around the world and amazing times togeher, we find ourselves in a situation where we can’t see ourselves evolving anymore as Kiuas and thus believe it is best for all past and present members and partners in crime to lay the name Kiuas to its grave.
We will not stop making music, not ever, either together or separately, but Kiuas is as of today dead and our visions and plans are to be built on new fresh soil.
To make sure we go down to our everlasing sleep in honor, Kiuas will play one more show, gathering together the history of the band and all its past members, united once more, in Helsinki’s Nosturi on October 18th.
