Collieman – Political Syndrome

Lyrics:

A who dem pon di billboards
Talk too much - never listen
It is typical symptom
Man suffer di political syndrome
A who dem pon di billboards
Vows no more real than a sitcom
Don't get caught up in dem fiction
Wolves a govern the kingdom

Politics I distrust
Thousands of years but the world still unjust
And the system corrupt
The whole political construct It is but a big coverup
A fairytale for grownups
Cus who really rules the world is not the face pon di poster
Who dem rule earth never chosen by voters
Politicians dem no aces but jokers
Dem just a chip in a fixed game of poker
Congressman im so eager fi play
Once in position im so eager fi stay
Promise we change - any promise is fake
Like dem get a $ for every promise dem break
Dem waan fi reign - but no affi brain
Dem waan fi take all the risk but no take the blame
Dem waan fi dictate the rules dem gwaan violate
Though citizens must obey

A who dem pon di billboards
Talk too much - never listen
It is typical symptom
Man suffer di political syndrome
A who dem pon di billboards
Vows no more real than a sitcom
Don't get caught up in dem fiction
Wolves a govern the kingdom

Rastaman know seh it a politricks
One word means another - nah believe dem shhh
Observe di Masters in the art of slickness
Dem sell air in a  box - a the promise-business
So excuse me if I-Rasta is a licckle skeptic
And try to look upon the matter by distinct perspectives
Rasta need not to be prescribed ethics
Humble from we enter life till we exit
Politics is too conspiratorial
The shots called by a few rich individuals
Dem imperium is too dictatorial
Too territorial
Who a di criminal?
Nowadays dem even control the media
The news reviewed by corporate multinationals
Better be critical
Be a lickkle cynical
Blow the whistle twice

Dem a juggle with the truth like a circus clown
Nah show dem real face until di curtains down
Dem wan fi kill the king but waan fi wear the crown
Keep talking about tomorrow while the time is now
Dem turn the parliament into a preschool yard
Defend dem false argument - nations fall apart
Dem waan fi go to war like Julius Cesar
Like a tsar dem waan triumph over all

A who dem pon di billboards
Talk too much - never listen
It is typical symptom
Man suffer di political syndrome
A who dem pon di billboards
Vows no more real than a sitcom
Don't get caught up in dem fiction
Wolves a govern the kingdom
Wolves a govern the kingdom
Wolves a govern the kingdom
