Occupy This Album, c'est le nom de la compilation qui sortira le 15 Mai 2012 pour soutenir le mouvement anti-capitaliste Occupy Wall Street. 99 artistes se sont réunis pour proposer symboliquement sur la version numérique 99 titres. Parmis les plus célèbres, on peut citer Mogwai, Yoko Ono et Patti Smith.
Pourquoi 99? Parce que c'est un chiffre très important pour illustrer l'injustice dénoncée par le mouvement.
« Ce que nous avons tous en commun, c'est que nous sommes les 99 % qui ne tolèrent plus l'avidité et la corruption des 1 % restant. »
